Yes. Each plan includes a set number of users for one flat monthly price, and extra users are $5/mo each — not $29-$89 per user per month like per-seat competitors. A 25-person company pays $299/mo total on the Business plan.

No. Invited subcontractors use BuildPunch completely free on every plan, including the free tier. They see their assigned work, upload photos, and respond through a bilingual English/Spanish portal, and they never count toward your user limit.

Two things, actually: the free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card, and every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You can run a real project before paying anything.

Add exactly what you need: +1 project or +1 user is $5/mo, +5 of either is $20/mo, and storage add-ons start at $15/mo for 500 GB. Or move up a tier. Billing is prorated; there is no forced jump to a sales call.

Yes. There are no annual contracts and no cancellation fees. If you cancel, you can export your full data first — every project downloads as a ZIP with photos, drawings, reports, and metadata.

Yes. BuildPunch caches project data for offline use. You can view drawings, update punch items, and capture photos with no signal — in a basement, an elevator shaft, or a rural site — and everything syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Yes. Daily reports capture weather (filled in automatically for the site), crew roster, photos, delays, and equipment, and export as branded PDFs. They can be emailed to owners and architects — no account needed on their end — manually or on an automatic schedule.

Yes. GPS-stamped clock-in/out, geofenced job sites, break tracking, automatic timesheets, and a supervisor approval workflow. Hours export as CSV for payroll. GPS is captured at punches only — it is not continuous worker surveillance.

Personally identifiable information is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM on every tier, including the free plan — not gated behind an enterprise SKU. BuildPunch also keeps immutable audit logs and enforces strict CSP and HSTS security headers.

For small and mid-size contractors, yes — BuildPunch covers the core field workflows (punch, drawings, photos, dailies, RFIs, submittals, time) at a flat company price. Archive them. Archived projects become read-only, stop counting against your project limit, and cost only storage. The data stays available as long as your account is active — useful when a question comes up a year after closeout.
