Send plans and folders to anyone with a link, let subs comment by name, and see exactly who saw what.
Public share links for folders and plan sets
Turn on a link for a document folder or a plan set and anyone you send it to can open it in a browser — no account, no invite, no app. You create the link, and you can kill it the moment the job's over.
How to use it: Documents → the globe icon on a folder, or Sheets & Drawings → Share plans. PMs and superintendents can create and revoke.
Subs can comment by name, no account needed
A sub opening their portal link can type their name and leave a comment. It shows up in the same thread your team sees inside the app, signed with the name they typed, so there's a record of who said what.
How to use it: Nothing to set up — it's on the sub portal link you already send.
Subs get told when drawings change
Upload or revise drawings and the subs assigned to that job get one email listing the files that changed — one email per upload burst, not one per sheet — with the plans link if you've got one live.
How to use it: Just upload. The Drawings list also shows only the current revision of each sheet now; older versions stay under History and Compare.
Assignment emails carry the photos
When you assign a punch item, the email now includes the item's photos and a link straight into the job, so the person reading it on their phone can see what you're talking about without logging in first.
How to use it: Assign the way you always have.
Lock a folder to your own team
Any document folder can be marked team-only. Subs, viewers, and clients stop seeing it — in the list, in search, and in its contents — while your own people carry on as normal.
How to use it: Documents → the lock toggle on a folder. A badge shows which folders are locked.
More than one contact per sub
A sub company can hold as many contacts as it really has, and you can star the one who's the point of contact for a given job. That starred person is who the job's directory shows, so the other trades on site know who to call.
How to use it: Subs → open a company → add contacts. Star the job contact from Active Subs.
Replay a crew member's day
The shift timeline gives you a scrubber for a single day — drag through it to see where someone was and when. If a clock-out got missed, one tap jumps you to the biggest gap. Mileage trips replay the same way, on the map.
How to use it: Timesheets → open a shift → drag the timeline. Mileage → open a trip → Replay.
