Subcontractor portal
The subcontractor portal is a link you send a sub that opens their assigned work — their punch items, their photos, their comments — in a browser, in English or Spanish, without them buying anything. It is for the GC who cannot get twelve subcontractors to install and learn a platform. It replaces the text-message-and-hope loop, and it means subs never consume a licensed seat on your plan.
How a sub gets in
- Generate a sub link for a company or trade; send it by text or email, or print the QR poster and hang it in the trailer.
- The portal auto-detects English or Spanish from the browser and can be switched by hand.
- The sub sees only their scoped items — not the whole project.
- They can update status, add a comment, and upload a fix photo from the phone in their pocket.

Viewing an invited project is free forever and never counts against your seat limit. If an individual wants to do the work in the app on their own account — complete punch items, upload photos, comment, clock in — that is the $4.99/month Individual plan on their account, not a line on your bill.
Your own employees, clock-only workers, and anyone on your company's email domain are covered by your company plan and are exempt from that.
