Punch lists
BuildPunch punch lists turn a walkthrough into tracked, assigned work: capture an item with a photo and a description, pin it to the exact spot on the drawing, assign it to a subcontractor, and require a fix photo before it can even be marked ready for review. It is for anyone whose closeout currently lives in a spreadsheet and a folder of unlabeled photos. It replaces snag-list apps that produce a report but do not produce a fix.
Capture, assign, verify
- Create an item in seconds with a photo, description, room, trade, and assignee — including subs from your company-wide sub directory.
- Pin the item to an x/y location on a specific drawing sheet and page.
- The sub fixes it, attaches a proof photo, and marks it ready for review — the app requires the fix photo before that transition.
- You approve, or you reject with a required comment, which reopens the item rather than quietly closing it.
- Every status change is written to the item's history: who moved it, when, and to what.
Reports people actually open
Export a filtered list or a completion report as a branded PDF with photos in 2-up or 4-up layouts. Each report can mint a public share link so an owner or an inspector reads it in a browser with no login and no app install — and you can revoke the link whenever you want.
Because punch items live in the same project as the drawings and the photo feed, a report is a view of live data rather than a snapshot somebody has to keep re-exporting.
